language teaching and relevant departments, under the guidance of international and national advanced education concepts and foreign language teaching methods, based on Zhenhai’s rapidly growing economic, cultural and educative power and the
construction of harmonious society, SIS will carry out a close cooperation with Zhenhai District for its requirement of
constructing a 1st class internationalized district of advanced education. Serving the cooperation, SIS will conduct an integrating inquiry, as well as a layout in Zhenhai District, mostly in the following fields: methods for the teaching of foreign languages,
extra-curriculum foreign language study, and college entrance rate related to foreign language and its role in National Entrance Examinations, in primary and middle school education, professional education and pre-school education. Further efforts are to
be made in these fields focusing on teaching resources, teaching mode, teaching outline, teaching platform, teachers’
qualifications, intercultural communication abilities, management of foreign languages, textbooks and the construction of a
multi-media foreign language study platform, administration of education system and innovation in entrance mechanism. The
ultimate purpose is to change Zhenhai District into such a model of being provincially famous, nationally advanced and
integrated with the international community, in fundamental education, boost its internationalized elite population, improve its
reputation of internationalized education, and eventually lay a strong foundation in terms of human resources for Zhenhai’s
construction of a harmonious society and its earlier modernization.
