Grand Opening Ceremony for Shen Hong Research Group and Academic Seminar Held

    The Opening Ceremony was presided by Hu Songfa,  the secretary of the Party Committee of SIS. First, Prof. Luo Weidong, director of   the Department of Humanity and Social Sciences of Zhejiang University, delivered an enthusiastic speech, speaking highly of the idea of setting up this Shen Hong Research Group , for it was the first research group to be named after a professor in our university, which was also a research team  based utterly on common research interests. Moreover, Director Luo also expressed high expectation on Shen Hong Research Group , wishing it a steady development and hoping that its research mode could serve as a good example in reforming the research system of our university. Prof. Fan Jieping, Executive Vice-Dean of SIS also gave his warm congratulation and firm support to the research group . He believed this research group should acquire a broad vision and a harmonious team cooperation, that it should attain a series of research achievements by crossing and integrating multiple-languages and multiple-disciplines.

   After receiving the plaque presented by Prof. Fan Jieping and Director Luo, Professor Shen Hong gave an academic report in about forty-five minutes, presenting his newest research results and research areas, which drew great attention of all the experts and research group colleagues present.
