Chu Jian and His Fellows Visit SIS

On the afternoon of May 11, 2007, Chu Jian, Vice President of ZJU and his fellows visited SIS, where he had a discussion about the “Talents Introduction” of SIS with Fan Jieping, Acting Dean of SIS, and Hu Songfa, Secretary of Party Committee of SIS.

Vice president Chu gave a speech on ZJU’s current talents situation and the goals of talents introduction of the university. In his talk, he emphasized that the introduction of the talents and the qualified teachers should focus on the subject’s innovation and that the university should introduce top talents in all fields especially in those new subjects and directions. He also indicated that ZJU had invented program-based and special-researcher-based employment policy and the colleges might adopt different channels in accordance to their own demands for talents. 

Fan Jieping introduced the recent subjects’ innovation and the development of the new subjects. Mr. Fan, on behalf of SIS, promised that SIS would make full use of the policy and resources of the university to do a good job on the introduction of talents and qualified teachers.
