On the morning of December 24th, Prof. Leurion, from Paris Dauphine University, arrived at the Institute of French Language & Culture and gave a lecture to all the teachers and students of the institute in Classroom 211, NO.6 East Building.
Through the profound analysis of the differences in education evaluation system between France and China, Professor Leurion emphatically pointed out that college students in France should possess themselves with independent thinking and problem-solving ability. Instead of accepting, they have to learn querying. Besides, they should also be good at summarizing and expressing their views. Only equipped with those above quality and ability, can students fit better in French society and higher education.
This lecture enhanced teachers’ and students’ understanding of French education system and French thinking mode, which could help them to acquire a comprehensive mind in learning and exchanging.
After the lecture, teachers and students thanked Professor Leurion for his excellent speech and sent delicate Christmas gifts with best wishes.
