On December 5th, professor Валерий Молодых , from Дальневосточный государственный университет delivered a lecture at #403, East 5, Institute of Russian Language & Culture. This was the second lecture of the lecture series “Актуальные вопросы современного состояния русского языка”. The lecture lasted 2 hours, which was hosted by the deputy director of Institute of Russian Language & Culture, associate professor Chen Xinyu. All the staff and students of Russian Department attended the lecture.
The lecture went on in a lively atmosphere. Professor Молодых summarized a few pressing problems in modern Russian and introduced some new words, expressions or usage in modern Russian with vivid examples. Professor Молодых spoke emotionally with interesting gestures and body languages, which deepen the presenters’ understanding of modern Russian in a relaxing atmosphere.
At the end of the lecture, teachers and students consulted Professor Молодых on some impenetrable words and expressions. Professor Молодых answered all the questions with patience.
Through this lecture, teachers and students of Russian Department have a better understanding of Russian language and broaden their horizons. All presenters feel grateful to Professor Молодых.
